Eau Claire area Guard member named Recruiter of the Year

Wisconsin Army Guard’s top recruiter credits success on building trust.

Members of the Wisconsin Army National Guard’s 157th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade and Milwaukee-area law enforcement coordinate their plans during an April 5 training exercise at the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds in West Allis. Soldiers took turns training in a reaction force role in support of local law enforcement as well as portraying looters and rioters. This type of training addresses communication skills between agencies and improves understanding and collaboration between local law enforcement and the Wisconsin National Guard. Wisconsin Guard, law enforcement team up for public safety training

The Wisconsin National Guard Reaction Force and law enforcement officers worked on collaborative response to looting, rioting scenarios.

Wisconsin National Guard Airmen with the 128th Air Refueling Wing Security Forces Squadron and the 115th Fighter Wing Security Forces Squadron were in Papua New Guinea the week of March 17-22 conducting training alongside the Papua New Guinea Defence Force as part of the State Partnership Program. The airmen are bringing their knowledge and experience to train PNGDF military police and other service members in areas such as crowd control, compliance techniques, physical security, and electronic security. Wisconsin Air Guard conduct security training with Papua New Guinea counterparts

PORT MORESBY, Papua New Guinea — Security Forces Squadron members train alongside Papua New Guinea Defence Force military police on security tasks.

Wisconsin National Guard announces theme of Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.

Gov. Tony Evers signs legislation into law changing the Wisconsin National Guard tuition grant program April 14 at his office in the state capitol. Under the changes, the Department of Military Affairs pays participating universities directly at the beginning of the semester, rather than reimbursing National Guard students at the end of each semester.
